Ten years ago today, our country was forever changed.
Ten years ago today, innocent Americans lost their lives.
Ten years ago today, our Nation cried.
Ten years ago today, I sat in my childhood bedroom trying to sort out what was going on with the world, to the best of my fifteen year old ability.
Ten years ago today, I pieced together a collage made from a 9/11 Special Edition newspaper.
Ten years ago today, I was shocked and made speechless.
Today, our country is still changed.
Today, we mourn the loss of innocent lives.
Today, our Nation cries, but is also united in hope.
Today, I am in my own home with my husband and children, and yet I am still trying to wrap my mind around how such a horrific event could happen.
Today, I still have that collage I made from those chilling newspaper clippings.
Today, I am still in disbelief and at a loss for words.
