Because of His crown, we can have ours.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

James 1:12

I am beyond grateful...

I have been so overwhelmed with words of love and support since my last post.  "Thank you" just doesn't seem to suffice.  Whether you messaged me to say "I'm praying for you", or pulled me aside in the parking lot to say "you're not alone", I am so grateful.  I even had some friends say to me "I feel the exact same way, and have often struggled over the same thoughts."  Therefor, I'd like to share with you the wise words that one of my sweetest friends sent me.  I have known this inspirational woman for years and she is truly a mouthpiece for our Lord, and she reminded me:

" ...If someone has diabetes and takes insulin, we don't question their faith...if my thyroid is underactive and I take synthroid, we don't question my faith...so if you are on a medication that your body needs, it's not a question of faith.  Walking with God is a daily trek, but the meds are not indicating that you aren't depending on Him~ you are trusting Him to use the meds that your body needs right now to help settle your emotions...I will be praying for you~ not to feel defeated, but to feel confident that He is holding you and that you will discern His guidance regarding dosages and timing with using the meds or coming off...".

I feel so blessed that God has surrounded me with such powerful, inspirational women! Thank you for all the support, kind words, and prayers! We're all in this journey together!
