Because of His crown, we can have ours.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

James 1:12

Please tell me I'm not the only one...

...who lets their kids stay in their PJs all day if we have nowhere to go.

...that calls any meat chicken so that their two and a half year old will eat it.

...who goes to the bathroom to blog/check facebook because it's the only place that you have an ounce of peace (sometimes).

...that devotes an entire day to doing laundry. Seriously, how do four people go through so many clothes and towels!?

...that considers a baby wipe a shower on rushed mornings.

...who does a victory dance when their kids are in bed before 9:00.

...who calls the pediatrician about once a week and starts the conversation with, "Hey, it's me again..."

...that lets her son play outside in freezing temperatures because if he does not burn some of that energy off soon, you're going to loose your bleeping mind.

...who feels like they're going to go insane if they have to change one. more. diaper!

...that has Iron Man, Spiderman, Cars, and all the Toy Stories on repeat throughout the day (I know, bad mommy).

...who considers it a "good night" when you only get up once to nurse your ONE YEAR OLD.

...that makes her kids use hand sanitizer after going anywhere/touching anything. Can we say OCD?

...that doesn't know the answer to all the "why?" questions.

...who's 2 year old knows what a coupon is.

...that has either been pregnant of nursing for almost 4 years.

...who's kids have at least 5 times as many clothes as their parents.

...and if I am the only one, please do me a favor and just say that I'm not :)

  1. I can relate to all these! My 3 yr old was in her nightgown all day today, and just about any little piece of paper she calls a coupon. I also feel like I call/visit the dr on a weekly basis. Going again tomorrow in fact!
