Because of His crown, we can have ours.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

A Little Bit of Everything!

First off, I just have to share some pictures that my friend took of our family this past weekend. Since Sean and I were married, we haven't had any professional pictures taken for our Christmas card (I am OBSESSED with always having a current, up-to-date, picture of the whole family on the card). This year, I approached a friend who is starting her own photography business about taking on the challenge of photographing our family. Here's a peak at our shoot:

Not bad for a beginner, huh? In fact, I think she's quite A-ma-zing! If you want her to shoot your family too, just message me and I'll shoot you her info! She's fabulous!

Moving onto sillier pictures....
This is how I found Madelyn sleeping this morning. She has gotten really good at soothing herself when it's time to go to sleep. The only problem? You don't know how she'll wind up sleeping!

Is she not the cutest little "butterball" ever?!
Finally, I have two HUGE prayer requests for you. First off, my dad has still not found a job (sighhhh). He's applied to so many wonderful places, but they either are moving very slowly or hiring within. Last week he had an interview with a company 5 minutes down the road from my parent's home. This job would be PERFECT for him. I want so badly for him to have a job by Thanksgiving and ask that you join me in this request. I would love for my dad to enjoy Thanksgiving with his family knowing that he has found a job after 6 long months of searching.
Secondly, I had a follow-up exam yesterday for an pap smear that came back abnormal 6 months ago. I had a procedure to remove some of the abnormal cells for testing back in May (not fun!) and am hoping to not endure that again. Please pray that this test will come back normal so that I don't have to go down the road of more procedures and follow-ups. Thank you!!!!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Erin
