Happy Friday, Friends! This week I have a fab food find for your reading enjoyment (is that enough alliteration for ya?!). About a year ago, when William got really good at eating finger foods, I stumbled upon mini lunchables:
- They are less than $2 for a 2 pack
- There are 3 different varieties: chicken strips with applesauce and graham cracker sticks, ham and cheese with mini ritz crackers, and turkey and cheese with mini ritz crackers.
- Can we say quick and easy?! These are great for picnics, car trips, or even a quick lunch/snack!
-The nutrition facts get my seal of approval (especially for a pre-fab food). I'm the mom who exclusively breastfed my child for 6 months, then gave him only organic baby food/cereal and breast milk until he was a year. We buy as much organic as possible, but when you're looking for prepackaged, easy foods (which we all buy...don't you dare say you don't!) it's hard to find organic that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The chicken strip meal (pictured above) has 5 g protein, 110 calories, and 25% vitamin c. With only 6 g sugar, it's not a bad pick for an occasional, quick lunch for your little one!
What's your fab find for the week...and why??
